Windows Server 2019 is licensed per server by core count, with Client Access Licenses for the users or devices that connect. This category covers the editions and CALs we stock.
Choose the edition by workload. Windows Server 2019 Standard covers most file, print and application roles, and is sold here with 16 or 24 core licensing. Windows Server Datacenter 2019 is the one to use for dense virtualisation, since its virtualisation rights differ from Standard. Windows Server 2019 Essentials is sold here for up to 25 users and 50 devices, so check those figures against your headcount before ordering.
Access licences are counted separately from the server. The RDS CALs for remote sessions are listed under Server Remote Desktop CAL 2019.
