Autodesk’s Product Design & Manufacturing industry covers mechanical design, simulation and manufacturing preparation. This category gathers Inventor for parametric mechanical design, Fusion for integrated CAD, CAM and CAE, Factory Design Utilities for plant layout, Moldflow for injection moulding simulation, PowerShape and Netfabb for manufacturing and additive workflows, Vault Professional for engineering data management, and Alias for industrial and automotive surface design. Autodesk has renamed several of these titles around Fusion: PowerShape is now sold as Autodesk Fusion with PowerShape, and Netfabb as Autodesk Fusion with Netfabb. Factory Design Utilities is available only through the Product Design & Manufacturing Collection. Licences are single-user annual subscriptions activated through an Autodesk account.
