SketchUp Pro is a direct-modelling tool rather than a parametric one, which is what makes it quick for massing studies, interior layouts and early design work. That same choice is its limit: it does not hold a parametric history, so late changes to a dimension do not propagate the way they would in a parametric package. Teams usually pair it with a dedicated renderer for final images.

Before ordering, check which file formats your collaborators expect. SketchUp exports to the common exchange formats, but round-tripping a model back from another package rarely returns it unchanged.
